10 Scary DIY Halloween Decorations

It is that time of the year when I am most excited-Halloween! I am so excited to share this article with you. I simply love Halloween and am at my creative best on Halloween. Let me share with you the best DIY Halloween decorations and I am sure you will love them.

Ideas For Halloween Decorations

1. Cotton Sheet Ghosts

It is one of the best outdoor Halloween decorations. You can make the Treat and Trick sign boards. The black felt eyes and the ghost with a cotton sheet can be made easily.

The cobweb on the ground makes it look scary. Keep pumpkins on either side of the door. The wreath on the door and the garland above complete the look.

Hang a big plastic spider on the top of the door.

2. Halloween Candles

This is one of my favorite indoor Halloween decorations. It is pretty simple to make. You just need a few candles, candle stands, a tree branch, black color.

Color the branch black and keep it between the candles. With minimum effort, you can create maximum effect here.

3. Halloween Magnetic Spiders

To make this you need around 40 plastic spiders, a magnet, and glue. Since it will stick only on metal so if you don’t have a metal door you can stick these spiders on your fridge.

It is one of the best Halloween decor ideas.

4. Skeleton Wreath

This is one of the scariest Halloween wreath ideas.

You need to make a Halloween wreath and hang a plastic skeleton.

5. Batty Front Door

For this, you need to make a natural twig wreath. Decorate it with felt bats.

Keep a couple of pumpkins on either side of the front door. It is one of the easiest Halloween decoration ideas.

6. Floating Witch Hat Luminaries

It adds a scary element to your front porch. To make this beautiful decoration you need black witch hats, needles, LED lights, and a fishing line.

It looks even more beautiful at night. This is one of the best DIY Halloween decorations.

For a Halloween party it will look so impressive.

7. Halloween Door

This front porch is pretty easy to decorate but it is perfect for Halloween.

You need a couple of pumpkins on either side of the door.

A big plastic spider. small plastic spiders and cobwebs complete the look.

8. Hanging Cage

This looks scary but is pretty easy to make.

The supplies needed are scissors, a plastic chain, a laundry basket, black spray paint, and zip ties.

9. Ghost Face Photo Frame

It is one of the most terrifying decorations for this Halloween.

To make this the supplies needed are a foam head, heavy starch spray, a picture frame, a small doll head, petroleum jelly, and cheesecloth.

It is one of my favorite Halloween crafts.

10. Eerie Tombstone

Though it is easy to make, when you think of a tombstone you get an eerie feeling.

The supplies needed are foam board, black paint, and a white paint pen.
