It is one of the most popular Indian chicken recipes. The chicken is tender and juicy and tastes yummy. You just need pantry staples to make this awesome dish.

This recipe is first made by Kundan Lal Gujral, a citizen of North India. You can either use chicken thigh or chicken breast but make sure they are boneless.

Tender chicken tastes best in this recipe and to make the chicken tender marinate it for 20 minutes and it will taste even better if you marinate it overnight.

It is best served with basmati rice or garlic naan bread. The recipe takes around 45 minutes to make including 15 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cooking time.

With a combination of plain yogurt, turmeric, garlic, coriander, and chicken breast or thigh you can make this lovely dish. To make the sauce you need a mix of coriander, garlic, olive oil, onion, tomatoes, red chili powder, heavy cream, and sauce.

It can be a good make-ahead recipe. You can refrigerate it in an airtight container for 48 hours.

2. Lemon Pepper Chicken

It is one of the easiest chicken recipes. To get the best out of the recipe use fresh lemon instead of lemon pepper seasoning. It is best served with steamed broccoli or baked red potatoes.

Herbs make the recipe tastier so I used parsley, you can try basil or rosemary too. You can either use chicken breasts or chicken thighs for this recipe.

It takes 20 minutes to make, including 10 minutes of prep time and 10 minutes of cooking time. You need to cook the chicken at 165°F.

The ingredients needed are chicken breasts, parsley, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, and lemon juice.

3. Asian Chilli Chicken

This is one of the quickest chicken dinner recipes. It is a little spicy but is sweet and savory too. You can use either chicken breasts or thighs for this dish.

The recipe is best served with cauliflower rice. It takes only 8 minutes to make this recipe. I use sriracha for spiciness and it makes the sauce thick. If you think it’s little spicy use ketchup too.

Make sure the internal temperature of chicken breasts is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check it with a thermometer.

It takes 5 minutes of prep time and 8 minutes of cooking time. The ingredients include ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and boneless chicken breasts.

4. Crispy Chicken Parmesan

Also known as Chicken Parmigiana, the recipe is quite popular across the world. The recipe is juicy and crispy. Breading makes the recipe flavor and you can get it with a mix of garlic, panko, breadcrumbs, and parmesan cheese.

You need a large skillet and an oven for this recipe. Preheat the oven to 430 degrees Fahrenheit.

It takes only 45 minutes to make the recipe including 15 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cooking time. For the recipe, the ingredients needed are chicken breasts, garlic, onion, Panko breadcrumbs, parsley and garlic.

For the sauce, you need a mix of dried Italian herbs, black pepper, garlic, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. To make the topping you need a mix of mozzarella cheese, basil, and parmesan cheese.

This dish is best served with garlic mushrooms or pasta.

5. Air Fryer Fried Chicken

It is one of my favorite recipes for a game day. The biggest advantage of making this recipe is it is healthy without compromising the crispness. The taste is 90% similar to traditional deep-fried chicken.

Another positive is cleanup hardly takes a minute. You don’t have to clean big oily pots. Buy a whole chicken for this recipe. To get the best out of this recipe soak the chicken in buttermilk, and dip it in all-purpose flour before you air fry it.

If you don’t have an air fryer you can panfry too. Heat the pan at 350°F, fry for 8 minutes, and flip over and fry for another 8 minutes.

Marinate the chicken for an hour before you air fry it. It takes around 2 hours to make this recipe which includes 60 minutes of marinating time, 15 minutes of prep time, and 45 minutes of cooking time.

The ingredients include fryer chicken, black pepper, all-purpose flour, paprika, salt, and buttermilk. The recipe is best enjoyed with coleslaw or cornbread.

6. Chicken Alfredo Bake

This is classic comfort food and a perfect dinner recipe. For the recipe, you need to make a homemade cream sauce with a mix of milk, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, heavy cream, and butter.

Any type of chicken will work rotisserie, shredded, or even roasted. Any pasta will work farfalle, rigatoni or fusilli. You can also add other flavors to it depending on your taste.

This can be a make-ahead recipe as well, up to 3 days in advance, keep it in the fridge. You just need to reheat it at 350°F. The recipe is Italian cuisine at its best.

It takes 50 minutes to make which includes 20 minutes prep time and 30 minutes cooking time. To make it you need to preheat the oven to 375°F. I prefer parsley for this recipe but you can use basil or thyme too.

The ingredients include penne pasta, heavy cream, mozzarella cheese, parsley, flour, and cooked chicken. You can replace chicken with shrimp for the seafood version.

7. Chicken Madeira

It is a crowd-pleaser and impresses everyone. It is best served with mashed potatoes. I prefer Madeira wine. You can check in your grocery store but if it’s not there you can use Marsala wine.

It is one of the most popular recipes in The Cheesecake Factory. But the homemade version is far better and is budget-friendly too.

The recipe takes around an hour to make which includes 15 minutes prep time and 30 minutes cooking time.

The ingredients include chicken breasts, Madeira wine, yellow onion, asparagus, garlic, mozzarella cheese and button mushrooms. It is best served with mashed potatoes.

8. Chinese Orange Chicken

The sweet and spicy flavor of this recipe tastes perfect. The orange sauce is the star of the recipe. You can make the sauce with a mix of soy sauce, garlic, orange zest, red chili flakes, vinegar, orange juice, and sugar.

It is a perfect weeknight dinner recipe. The recipe will be loved by even picky eaters. You can use any pasta but I chose rotini for this recipe.

To make the sauce creamy and rich, use half and half, also cream and parmesan cheese makes the sauce thick and tangy so I use them. You can use baked chicken thighs or pan-seared chicken breasts. I chose the latter.

Rotisserie chicken will also work in this recipe. To make smooth Alfredo sauce use full-fat cream cheese. The recipe takes around 30 minutes to make including 15 minutes prep time and 15 minutes cooking time.

You need to preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. The ingredients include penne pasta, mushrooms, all-purpose flour, mozzarella cheese, broccoli, and boneless chicken breasts.

This is a perfect recipe for busy nights as it is quick and easy to make You can make it with pantry staples. Honey garlic sauce is one of my favorites and I used it in this recipe too.

For the gluten-free version use cornflour or cornstarch. Instead of chicken, you can use beef, tofu, shrimp, lamb, or prawns too.

This is an easy recipe and a crowd please for sure. For the recipe, you can either buy chicken cutlets from the supermarket or just slice a chicken breast.

For creamy and flavorful sauce use heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. It takes 25 minutes to make that includes 10 minutes prep time and 15 minutes cooking time.

The equipment needed is a spatula, a skillet, and kitchen tongs. The ingredients include chicken breasts, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, all-purpose flour and garlic.

It is best served over pasta. If you are looking for a low-carb meal serve it with zucchini noodles. You can store the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and it will be good for 3 days.

12. Crockpot Chicken Breasts

This is one of my favorite crockpot chicken recipes. For a busy weeknight, this is a perfect juicy and flavorful chicken recipe.

I would suggest only using fresh chicken for this recipe. This recipe is made using chicken breasts but you can use chicken thighs also.

To make this recipe you need a top-quality crockpot. The ingredients include chicken breasts, paprika, onion powder, olive oil, chicken broth, pepper, and salt. It is best served with mashed potatoes or cucumber salad.

You can store it in a container with a lid in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can also freeze it for 3 months.

If you are looking for some baked proteins this is the recipe. It is one of the most delicious chicken breast recipes.

Let’s be honest, it is not easy to bake chicken. If you make a little mistake you will end up with a rubbery flavorless recipe. But if done correctly you will be showered with praise.

What I most liked about this recipe is it is versatile and can be customized easily. A cooking thermometer is a must for this recipe.

14. Chicken Fajitas

It is one of the most delicious Mexican recipes. I like to serve it with tortillas and sour cream.

This one-pan recipe will take only half an hour to make which is perfect for a busy weeknight. You can buy pre-made seasoning packets from the store but I prefer homemade fajita seasoning.

For fajita seasoning, you need a mix of paprika, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper and oregano. I use a cast iron skillet for this recipe but you can use a stainless pan too.

The biggest plus is it’s a make-ahead recipe. It takes half an hour to make. To make the recipe the ingredients needed are cumin, oregano, chicken breasts, bell pepper, and chili powder.

15. Teriyaki Chicken

This is one of the best chicken recipes. I often frequented a nearby Japanese restaurant just to have this but now I can easily make a restaurant-quality teriyaki chicken in the comfort of my home.

It does not require any marinating and you can cook it in only 10 minutes. It is best to use chicken thighs for this recipe for extra juiciness. The recipe is best served with rice.

Mirin is one of the most important ingredients for this recipe but if you can’t find it use Sake, they both are Japanese alcoholic beverages.

The ingredients include onion, chicken thighs, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, cooking oil, brown sugar, and broccoli. It is best served with garlic butter rice.

16. Chicken Tikka Masala

This is one of the most popular Indian chicken recipes and tastes so good. You can either use chicken breasts or thighs for this recipe. It is best served with rice.

You need to marinate the chicken with yogurt for 6 hours to make the chicken tender. I prefer plain yogurt over Greek yogurt as it’s not too thick.

The recipe takes around 35 minutes to make with 15 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes of cooking time.

The ingredients include chicken breasts, garlic, cumin, paprika, ginger and yogurt. For the tikka masala sauce you need a mix of garam masala, ginger, onion, plain yogurt, turmeric, and coriander.

I love soup and this soup is healthy and protein-packed. it is my go-to recipe. Use chicken thighs to get the best results. You can get store-bought chicken stock but I prefer the homemade version, it’s much better.

Adding herbs like thyme takes it to the next level. The recipe takes 40 minutes to make including 5 minutes of prep time and 35 minutes of cooking time.

You need a mix of chicken thighs, bay leaves, thyme, egg noodles, garlic, bay leaves, parsley and chicken stock.

This is one of the most versatile recipes, you can add half and half or heavy cream, add spinach or kale, and make it lemony by adding lemon. You can even replace noodles with rice.

You can also make this soup using leftover chicken.

18. Chicken Biryani

This is one of my favorite chicken recipes and I make it quite often. I am sure once you will make it you want to make it again and again.

I prefer chicken thighs for this recipe and it will be more flavorful. Start with marinating the chicken with a mix of coriander, garam masala, chili peppers, ginger and garlic. Boil the rice with cumin, bay leaves, and cardamon.

Biryani takes two and a half hours to make, including half an hour of prep time and 60 minutes of cooking time. The ingredients include ginger, basmati rice, onion, cinnamon, saffron threads, chicken thighs, ghee and ginger.

It is best served with raita which is a mix of yogurt, onion, mint, coriander, and salt.

19. Creamy Chicken Marsala

It is one of the most popular Italian chicken dishes. Usually, the chicken marsala recipe does not include cream but to balance out strong wine flavor cream is required.

Marsala wine is the best option but if you don’t get it then opt for Dry Madeira wine or Red Vermouth.

It is best served with pasta or rice. The recipe takes 35 minutes, including 10 minutes of prep time and 25 minutes of cooking time.

The ingredients include all-purpose flour, butter, chicken breast, garlic and olive oil. To make the marsala sauce you need a mix of butter, parsley, Marsala wine, garlic, heavy cream and chicken broth.

20. Smothered Chicken And Rice

It is one of the best dinner recipes. The recipe takes around 35 minutes to make including 10 minutes of prep time and 25 minutes of cooking time. Make the rice first, refrigerate it and then bake the casserole.

The equipment needed are mixing bowls, a 9×13 baking dish and a rotary cheese grater. You need to preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

It takes 35 minutes to make, including 10 minutes of prep time and 25 minutes of cooking time. To make it you need to preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. For crunchier coating, I use panko breadcrumbs.

For marination, you need a mix of ground black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, olive oil, and ranch dressing. To make the recipe ingredients include parmesan cheese, black pepper, chicken breasts, garlic, and panko breadcrumbs.

The best thing is you can keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and it will still be good for up to 4 days.

23. Balsamic Chicken

You need a skillet for this recipe. It takes 25 minutes including 5 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes of cooking time.

The recipe is simple yet delicious and it’s pretty easy to make. You need a skillet, bowl, and an instant-read thermometer.

Marinate your chicken for at least 10 minutes. The ingredients include balsamic vinegar, boneless chicken breasts, Italian herb seasoning, chicken broth, and garlic.

To check the doneness insert an instant-read thermometer in the chicken breast and it should read 165°F. You can also cut the chicken into small thin strips and spread over pasta as a topping.

It is one of the most popular recipes in Whataburger restaurants. You can enjoy this recipe any time of the day.

Marinate the chicken with buttermilk if you don’t have buttermilk mix one teaspoon of lemon juice and milk. To get the best taste marinate chicken for a longer duration, it will be more tender.

It takes an hour including 30 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cooking time. You need to bake it at 450°F. For the recipe, I have used frozen biscuits as they have a better texture.

I prefer chicken breasts for this recipe but you can use chicken thighs too but cook for a shorter duration.

The ingredients include honey, all-purpose flour, black pepper, baking powder, honey, cornstarch, buttermilk, and chicken breasts. It is best served with fried squash or southern collard greens.

25. Pollo Loco- Mexican Chicken And Rice

This is one of my favorite Mexican chicken recipes. It takes half an hour including 10 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes of cooking time.

For the recipe, you need a 12-inch non-stick skillet, Jumbo ziplock bags, a meat thermometer, a cast iron grill pan, and grilled tongs.

Start with marinating the chicken with Lawry’s Baja Chipotle marinade and let it marinate for at least half an hour. It would be better if you marinate it overnight and then grill the chicken.

The ingredients needed are chicken breasts, onion flakes, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, tomato, garlic salt and rice.

26. Chicken Scampi Pasta

For the recipe, I used dry white wine. You can either use Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.

The recipe takes half an hour including 15 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cooking time. Saute the chicken till the thermometer reads 165°F.

With a combination of spaghetti, parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour chicken tenders, dry white wine, garlic, and lemon juice you can make this lovely recipe.

It is best served with Caesar salad but you can serve over white rice or even serve with mashed potatoes.

27. Peruvian Chicken

Though this recipe takes a couple of hours to make, it’s worth it as you will earn a lot of praise from your near and dear ones. For the recipe, you need four-pound chicken which is considered a fryer.

You need to first marinate the chicken with the mix of lime juice, olive oil, garlic, and spices and then oven-roast it till it is juicy and crispy. Marinate it for at least 6 hours.

Preheat the oven to 425°F, the chicken will turn golden in 20 minutes and then roast at 375°F for a little over an hour. To make the green sauce you need a mix of lime juice salt, jalapenos, cilantro, mayonnaise, and garlic. You need a blender or a food processor.

The ingredients include jalapeno peppers, sour cream, paprika, chicken, cilantro, black pepper, kosher salt, extra virgin olive oil, and oregano.

28. Southwest Chicken Casserole

This casserole recipe is one of the easiest weeknight dinner recipes. I love this dish more as you just need a pan to make it. Packed with protein this is one of the healthiest chicken recipes.

It takes an hour including 5 minutes of prep time and 55 minutes of cooking time. You can use either chicken tender, chicken thigh, or chicken breast. Use either black beans or kidney beans.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. You need a large 12×9 casserole dish. The ingredients include garlic, salsa, chicken breasts, black beans, cheddar cheese, and salsa.

The recipe is best served with pineapple salsa or a salad. You can keep the leftovers in the fridge and it will still be good for 4 days.

Since it is a low-carb chicken recipe I make it quite often. The recipe is crunchy on the outside and moist inside. The tangy flavor makes it super delicious. It is a perfect potluck recipe or you can definitely add it to your menu for your next party.

It is a standalone recipe but you can also serve it with veggies. The equipment needed for this recipe includes baking sheets and parchment paper sheets.

The recipe takes around 50 minutes to make. You need to preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

The ingredients include garlic, chicken thighs, ranch salad dressing mix, lemon juice, and olive oil.

30. Air Fryer Chicken Wings

These chicken wings are crispy and you will enjoy every bite. It is one of the quickest appetizers to make and requires no marinating. The inner part is juicy and tender.

I prefer a big air fryer like Cuisinart because I have to make it in large quantities and people love to have these appetizers and it disappears so fast. There are other good air fryers too like Philips air fryer or Cosori air fryer but I prefer Cuisinart as it has ample space.

The best thing about this model is it bakes, toasts, and broils too. You can also make these chicken wings in an oven and for that, you need to preheat the oven to 400°F and it will take almost one hour to make.

The recipe is simple and you just need pantry staples. As I mentioned before it does not require any marination but if you want you can marinate it.

You can use any dip of your choice but for these chicken wings, I like avocado ranch. The recipe takes only 20 minutes to make which includes 4 minutes of prep time and 16 minutes of cooking time.

It requires only four ingredients chicken wings, lemon pepper, garlic salt, and olive oil. Turn your air fryer on and bake it at 400°F until the chicken turns golden brown on each side.
